In the Fall of 2021, Chester will start teaching an 8-week class on major worldviews, such as theism, deism, naturalism, Marxism, nihilism existentialism, eastern pantheistic monism (EPM), new age philosophy, postmodernism, and Islam, at Capo Beach Church in San Juan Capistrano.
His literary interests range from philosophy, theology and ethics to mythology, short stories and poetry. In the last two years, Chester has published an academic book on ethics Biblical Ethics: An Exegetical Approach to a Morality of Happiness, Volume 1: Old Testament Flourishing, his parents’ memoire Flight to Freedom: A Story of Refuge, Redemption, and Restoration and a short story with his son Imagining Jesus: Practicing the Presence of God for Children . In the near future, he looks forward to publishing a speculative fiction based on the life of Jesus, called Salvador, as well as finishing Volume 2: New Testament Flourishing of Biblical Ethics.
Chester also enjoys photography, cooking, working out (crossfit), mountain biking, and spending time with friends and family.
